We want to thank those members who have signed this attached petition. But we still have a long way to go.
Please pass out this petition in your office. We will have the sign up again tomorrow in front of the Frances Perkins Building Cafeteria from Noon until 2PM to sign this petition to restore the core hours to 10 am to 3pm. This campaign will have to go through the holidays so any help you can give will help. Once again non-members and managers can sign this petition. |

Since the Department will be granting four hours of administrative leave on Thursday, December 24th; we will be closing the Local 12 office on Thursday December 24th so our staff can enjoy the long holiday weekend with their families. |

The Election Committee for the next Local 12 election in February still needs at least one more volunteer. If you are interested or know anyone who is interested in being on this committee, please let us know. The Election Committee is already under way and they want to send out the mailing to the membership on January 5, 2010 but they still need help if you can. |

We will continue the petition drive to “Restore the Core” on Monday December 14, Wednesday December 16, and Friday December 18.
